Gorillaz 'Song Machine Live': Airdate, tracklist, tickets, trailer and all about the iconic band's virtual concert

Gorillaz is hosting their first virtual concert in two years with 'Song Machine Live' this winter, which they are playing from London for audiences across the globe

Gorillaz have taken to social media to tease their highly anticipated virtual live performance this winter. With their first live concert since 2018, the world's biggest virtual band will be performing songs from their online series 'Song Machine', live from London for audiences across the globe.

Dubbed 'Song Machine Live' and hosted by LIVENow, the special Gorillaz event will be broadcast for two nights in December and will feature visuals from their secret weapon, animator Jamie Hewlett. The full Gorillaz live group will be hitting the London stage, including guitarist Noodle, bassist Murdoc Niccals, drummer Russel and frontman 2D with Damon Albarn. Additionally, 'Song Machine' sees the band teaming up with a star-studded list of artists such as Beck, Elton John, Skepta and Slowthai.

Speaking of the event, LIVENow Director Marc Watson said the virtual concert will "raise the bar on what to expect from live-streamed concerts". He said, "We are really proud to work alongside Gorillaz to create something truly special for fans all around the world. It demonstrates our commitment to creativity and innovation as we build LIVENow into the world's leading destination for live-streamed content."

Gorillaz teased the concert with a poster shared on Instagram on September 24.

"Got your ticket for Song Machine Live yet?" the group began in the caption alongside the poster. "THREE live performances streamed to you in real time Performing to you live and direct Songs from Song Machine, played live for the first time This show will not be replayed. Miss it, miss out!" they noted.
