Staying at home just got a little better as 'Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted' is all set to premiere with Season 2. Amid the current coronavirus pandemic, Nat Geo is adding its bit of entertainment to our daily routine, with the upcoming series in less than a month. 

In Season 1 of 'Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted', we saw the world-renowned chef travel across the globe learning about local ingredients and culinary traditions.

In Season 2, we will see Gordon excavate world cultures through food and adventure. Here is everything you need to know about Season 2 of 'Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted'.

Release date

'Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted' Season 2 will premiere on National Geographic on June 7, 2020.

Plot

According to National Geographic's website, "Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted' revolves around Chef Gordon Ramsay as he embarks on a journey to some of the most incredible and remote locations on Earth in search of culinary inspiration, epic adventures and cultural experiences he will never forget." 

The second season will see Ramsay visiting South Africa, Norway, India, Indonesia, Guyana, and Louisiana. Other adventures he'll be embarking on include: racing a four-wheeler through dangerously muddy back roads to forage for fresh greens and hunt for bullfrogs and crawfish; plunging into Norway's frigid waters to uncover the bounty of the fjords; leaping off a helicopter into high waves to harvest mussels along the South African coast; battling strong surf to catch fish using traditional Indian techniques, with a 60-foot heavy net out at sea; participating in a West Sumatran ancient bull run and exploring a dangerous Indonesian cave system in search of giant prawns.

Gordon Ramsay is no new name, the world-renowned chef is also a restaurateur, writer, and television personality. Gordon's Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, London has had three Michelin stars since 2001. Gordon is known for his blunt and fiery remarks. He is also known for the slew of cooking competitions he presents. 

Executive Producer

Jon Kroll

 Jon Kroll produced the first season of 'Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted' along with Gordon himself. So we assume that Kroll will be taking on the role of the Executive Producer once again since there is limited information about the upcoming series. Jon also directed 'The Amazing Race' for which he won a 2004 Primetime Emmy Award.
