Posing for pictures, the newlyweds were seen very simply dressed. The bride looked radiant, holding a bouquet of pink hydrangeas in an A-line dress with pastel prints and capped sleeves. She paired the dress with open-toed sandals and loose, flowy hair. The groom favored a pair of dark brown trousers, a green shirt, and brown oxfords. The two looked comfortable and relaxed as they stood with the priest, who captioned his post, "Very simple, prayerful and dignified marriage ceremony for Film Celebrity Jason Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church."
According to The Irish Independent, Fr Lynch revealed, "It’s a pre-wedding ceremony, the real ceremony will take place over in England, but the family have been holidaying down here in Ballinskelligs, The Glen, for many years and they have so many happy memories here."
He also added that the entire ceremony that took place on Saturday, August 27, was "lovely, prayerful, dignified" and that it was the "sheer simplicity that just touched everyone, and everyone was happy and content." In fact, after the simple affair, the 30-year-old actor messaged the priest, "Jack texted me this morning to say that it was such a wonderful, moving ceremony."
It has been confirmed that the main wedding ceremony will take place very soon in England. The couple decided to hold the pre-wedding in Ireland because of how much Ballinskelligs and The Glen mean to them. The intimate setting, with only their close family, made the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable.
On the work front, fans miss Gleeson in the role of the cruel and loathed King Jeoffrey. They must wait longer as he is not set to reprise his role in the show's prequel, 'House of Dragons' as the spin-off is set 200 years before the events of 'Game of Thrones'. However, the actor will next be seen in an upcoming Netflix thriller 'In the Land of Saints and Sinners' directed by Robert Lorenz. The film boasts an incredible cast and will also star Liam Neeson, Ciarán Hinds, Colm Meaney, and Kerry Condon.
