An "ahgase" refers to the name of a fan for Wang's K-pop boy group Got7. A Hong Kong rapper now based in South Korea, Wang moved to Seoul, South Korea, in 2011 to pursue a career in K-pop. In 2014, after over two years of training, Wang debuted as a member of Got7 with the single 'Girls Girls Girls'. He is also active in his home country of China as a solo artiste and television host.
'Pretty Please' will mark the rapper's first collaboration with Galantis. Wang has previously teamed up with notable artistes on other tracks. In 2018, Wang released the non-album single 'Different Game' which features American rapper, Gucci Mane. Wang has also worked with Swae Lee and Major Lazer on 'Walking' which released last year.
Meanwhile, Galantis have been quiet about new music in 2020 since the release of their latest album. Titled 'Church', the LP is their third studio album which released in February. So, for fans, 'Pretty Please' is an effort by the duo that is most welcome.
