Funkmaster Flex announces team up with King Von for single, fans cry foul over teaser photo: 'No respect'

Rappers King Von and Funkmaster Flex are teaming up for a new collaborative project coming out this winter. Fans, mark your calendars for December 10, 2020, you're getting both a Von-Flex single and its accompanying music video.

The pair were seen in a photo together at the music video shoot, shared via Instagram by Flex on November 3. "Shooting that video off my album! @FunkFlex x @kingvonfrmdao Video/Song out December 10! All Platforms! @youtube / FunkFlex Yes sir! Lyor/Kelly!!!!! @juganot ( Red Eye / @dodgeofficial ) @inflexwetrust films / records independent!" the rapper wrote in the caption for the pic.

The photo features the two rappers leaning against the front of the Red Eye version of a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Check out the photo here. Although some fans were excited about the upcoming collaborative song, there is more attention for the photo itself, particularly for Von's foot resting on the bumper of the vehicle. "Ni**a gotta take his feet off that grill. No respect!" said a fan while another wrote, "Tell ya man to take his feet off that bumper."

One fan said, "That boot on the Redeye super disrespectful" "I know his foot on dat paint job killt u low key @funkflex," wrote another fan. Other fans were loving the duo's looks. "Flex.... You look better than the Tunnel days!!! Good for you," said a fan. One fan shared, "King von looking like lil baby with long dreads in this one." Another fan added, "@funkflex you out here lookin flyer then a mofo."

As mentioned earlier by Flex, the new song will feature on his upcoming album, which hasn't been given an official title or release date yet. At the time, he wrote on Instagram, "Oh yeah! Something just popped up in my inbox! @funkflex x @lilbaby_1 I’m almost done! Finishing up 3 more joints then I’m done! WHO ELSE SHOULD I PUT ON MY PROJECT? :FUNKFLEXSESSIONS." 

Then, on October 5, the rapper revealed he and Tory Lanez have been working together on a song, according to HipHopDX. He said, "I’m not sure what this guy’s smoking … album mode and we working on joints." Flex added, "We up late cooking something up for my album! @torylanez. I think we got something! My album kinda cranking! @torylanez."
