French Montana, born Karim Kharbouch, had reportedly been experiencing severe stomach pains, nausea, and an increased heart rate and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital and placed in ICU, according to TMZ.

The hospitalization came a few weeks after Montana, who was born and raised in Morocco, celebrated his birthday by taking a trip to Africa. The artiste has been receiving much love and support from fellow rappers, including 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes and Fat Joe.

Earlier in the week, he was still suffering from the effects of severe exhaustion and dehydration following a travel schedule that took place in several countries in only a few days.

He shared in an update that he's getting better every day following the medical scare that put him in a hospital bed and that he's finally out of the intensive care unit.

The "Unforgettable" rapper shared the update on his health and announced that he's out of ICU and on the road to recovery.

"Can't keep me down," he captioned an Instagram post. "Been workin hard on my new album and I’m so proud to announce it's coming this Friday!" He added, "The music is keepin my spirit alive. Thank you to my fans, love y’all for ridin with me thru this journey."

Fellow rappers including 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes and Fat Joe also showed their support for Montana in the comments section.

Montana had previously slated the release of his third studio album, 'Montana', in November and it will include his single 'Writing on the Wall' featuring Post Malone, Cardi B and Rvssian, as well as three other singles he has released this year.

The singles are 'Slide' featuring Blueface and Lil Tjay, 'Wiggle It' featuring City Girls and 'Suicide Doors' featuring Gunna.

"Thank you everyone for all of the prayers, love and support," he captioned the post. "I'm finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time!"
