Freeform's most loved show 'The Bold Type' has finally released a trailer for its fourth season and we're here for all the drama that is about to ensue.

About three close friends living in New York City, 'The Bold Type' follows them as they navigate their career, sexuality, identity and ultimately find their own voice in a sea of intimidating leaders. Working at the global women's magazine Scarlet, the topical dramedy highlights the real-world issues faced by the employees particularly Jane Sloan (Katie Stevens), Kat Edison (Aisha Dee), Sutton Brady (Meghann Fahy), Richard Hunter (Sam Page), Jacqueline Carlyle (Melora Hardin).

The story picks up from where it had left off at the end of the last season. Jane, still reeling from her boyfriend Ryan (Dan Jeannotte) kissing another woman while he was on a book tour, must try to come to terms with it. But how? Is kissing someone else going to solve the problem?

At the same time, Kat is dealing with the drama in her relationship with Adena (Nikohl Boosheri). She chose herself over everything else at the end of the last season and the trailer shows her inviting Adena inside her house. And Sutton looks like she will be trying her hand at being a fashion influencer and finally venture into the world of fashion.

The girls and everyone else at Scarlet must now adjust to working without the best boss they could ever have, Jacqueline, who despite being ousted from the publication, is still going to continue "fighting for women".

The upcoming season will see Amanda Lasher passing on the showrunner baton to Wendy Straker Hauser, who has been with the series since its first season. The fourth season of 'The Bold Type' consists of 18 episodes and will premiere to January 23, 2020, 9/ 8c on Freeform. You can also watch it on the Freeform app, Freeform.com, On Demand, and on Hulu.
