Heartbroken Sharon Stone shares snap of 'precious' baby godson Cosmo days after death of brother Patrick
SAN FRANSISCO, CALIFORNIA: Only a day after confirming her brother's death, actress Sharon Stone posted a heartwarming photo of her godson, Cosmo. In the picture, the little boy is wearing a loose-fitted pair of comfy striped pajamas as he sits leaning back on a huge cuddly bear. “Cosmo continues to grow in and out of Jammie’s,” Stone captioned the sweet photo. Fans of the actress took to the comments to gush over the little baby, calling him "precious" and "sweet."
This post came soon after Stone had confirmed the death of her brother Patrick Joseph Stone, 57. She posted an emotional clip confirming the death to thank people for all the support they gave her during the tough time. “Hello everyone, this message is to confirm that, yes, we did lose my brother, Patrick Joseph Stone, to a heart attack yesterday,” she said in the video she posted. Joseph had lost his eleven-month-old son, River, a year ago to organ failure.

Sharon Stone’s bond with godson, Cosmo
This is not the first time Stone posted a photo with Cosmo. The actress had posted a photo last October of her looking on while Cosmo learned to stand up on his own. She seemed wildly happy in the photo as Cosmo made a pouty face, with his head facing away from the camera.
'We've had a tremendous amount of loss'
“Yes, he is the man who was the father to River who we lost last year at 11 months old,” the actress confirmed. She also went on to add, “He is survived by his wife Tasha and his son Hunter and his daughter Cailee.”
She also thanked her fans for supporting her during this tough time and for all the positive messages she had received. “Like any family, we thank you for your love and support in this time of immeasurable grief and we appreciate all of your condolences. Yes, we've had a tremendous amount of loss in these last couple of years, as so many of you also have. And we do greatly understand that the losses are ours here on Earth, and I thank you very much for the love and support that you're showing us, and we just ask you to continue to be kind. Thank you."
