Episode 3 of 'Frankly Speaking' throws Ki-baek headfirst into another hilarious nightmare fueled by his brutal honesty. Determined to find a new career path, he arrives for an audition, microphone on, and takes a seat.

Unbeknownst to him, the jury behind the one-way window mercilessly mocks his appearance, sending his anxiety soaring which Ki-baek can hear through the earpiece he got.

Meanwhile, Woo-ju, sensing there might be a group interview, bursts into the room, sees Ki-baek, and gets ready to support him. Seeing his nervousness, she throws all her energy into a pep talk, urging him to ignore everything and simply deliver the news script with professionalism.

Taking a deep breath, Ki-baek starts the audition. His practiced delivery and natural charm initially impress the unseen jury. However, his newfound honesty can't be suppressed for long.

After getting through the script, he abruptly stops, declaring he can't lie anymore. Ki-baek passionately explains how the truth is the very foundation of news reporting, a stark contrast to the fabricated realities often presented.

This outburst sparks a memory – Ki-baek recalls his initial motivation to become an anchor: a desire to deliver accurate and meaningful information. Emboldened by this rediscovered purpose, he continues the script, his voice filled with conviction.

Suddenly, the door swings open, and a furious member of the jury bursts in, hurling insults and calling Ki-baek a loser. But the humor kicks in at this critical moment. Ki-baek, unfazed, leans in and says, "Sir, you stink."

The episode ends with Ki-baek unloading a string of honest observations into the juror's ear, leaving us to wonder – will his brutal honesty sabotage his chances once again, or could it be the key to an unexpected outcome?
