‘First lady botherer’: ‘South Park’ takes dig at Meghan Markle’s cooling friendship with Michelle Obama
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Popular American sitcom South Park is likely to face legal issues after the show savagely took a shot at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Besides, the show also used a small detail in the highly controversial episode which takes aim at Meghan Markle's relationship with Michelle Obama.
Although the comedy program with 26 seasons under its belt has never mentioned Harry and Meghan's names, the way they depicted the fictional Prince and Princess of Canada - a young royal couple who repeatedly beg for privacy while drawing attention to themselves, it clearly became evident that they were resembling the former royal couple. The red-headed prince and his wife donned the same dusty pink outfit that Meghan wore for Trooping the Color in 2018, along with an almost identical hat that sat on her head. The duo was shown promoting the Prince's book, 'Waaagh', the cover of which had a striking resemblance to Harry's memoir, Spare in the cartoon episode.

Worldwide Privacy Tour
The couple set on a 'Worldwide Privacy Tour' in the episode, showing the couple doing TV interviews before moving to South Park "for privacy." The Prince and Princess of Canada seek help from a brand management agency to restore their image. It is there when the viewers get to see the Princess's profile, which describes her as "sorority girl, actress, influencer and victim."
The profile also lists a lawyer and first lady botherer. It is highly likely that the first is a reference to Meghan's role in the legal drama 'Suits' while the latter one likely suggests that she is bothering former First Lady Michelle Obama. It includes her interests, including yoga, calligraphy, cuisine, writing, lifestyle, advocating, acting, blogging, and feminism.

Harry and Meghan's relationship with Michelle Obama
Harry has developed a close bond with the Obamas over the years and spoke at a summit for the Obama Foundation in November 2017. They have also worked together, previously promoting the Invictus Games. It later came to light that in 2018, a pregnant Meghan had secretly attended Michelle Obama's book event in London. In what was termed a "power meeting", Meghan met Michelle backstage after the event.
According to Newsweek, Tom Bower's 2018 book, 'Revenge: Meghan, Harry And The War Between The Windsors', claimed that the former first lady of the US was "alarmed" by Meghan's attitude during their first meeting. "The Duchess appears not to have appreciated how much the Obamas admired the Queen," Tom wrote. "Meghan's attitude alarmed Michelle. Her advice to Meghan was delivered in public."

"Take some time," Michelle Obama said in an interview according to Daily Mail, "and don't be in a hurry to do anything." She added, "Like me, Meghan probably never dreamt she'd have a life like this; no-deal, the pressure you feel can sometimes feel like a lot." Michelle also expressed her views on Meghan and Harry's 2021 Oprah interview, saying that she personally chose to focus on the people she "serves" rather than herself while in public service, while taking a shot at the couple.
