LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Jeopardy!’ host Mayim Bialik was again roasted by fans for accepting an incorrect response during a recent episode. Bialik has been constantly slammed by some fans for being the "worst" host ever due to her "robotic" hosting. While fans are asking for Ken Jennings as the host, Bialik is making things worse for ‘Jeopardy!’ viewers.

After June 1 ‘Jeopardy!’ broadcast, host Maim Bialik was called out by fans for allowing a response that was incorrect. During the episode, contestant Jared Watson, a quality control specialist from Greenville, Texas, responded to a ‘Sweet Spots’ category question that was incorrect. However, Bialik deemed it correct and fans slammed her brutally. She faced backlash after she broke the streak of ‘Jeopardy!’ master Ben Chan over a single letter mistake.

'MACAROONS ARE NOT MACARONS'

While Jared was up against Ilhana Redzovic, an investment associate, and Eva Thomas, an attorney from Brooklyn, New York, he selected the $1,000 clue during the ‘Sweet Spots’ round. Bialik read, "Founded in Paris, Laduree offers these filled cookies in a rainbow of colors & flavors, including orange blossom.” Jared responded, “What are macaroons?”

Bialik replied with a French accent, “Yes! Or Macaron.” Though Bialik corrected Jared’s response, she was heavily slammed for it by fans online for not knowing the difference between macaron and macaroon. Fans took to social media and mocked her as one Twitter user wrote, “The correct answer to the filled cookies on tonight's show was Macaron. The person who answered it said Macaroon which is a totally different type of cookie. After he answered macaroon, Mayim said yes...French macarons. I'm starting to hate this show."

Another said, “Mayim, love ya, but no need to correct people's pronunciation. You're no Alex.” One more user wrote, “Jared's answer wrong tonight on #jeopardy June 1st. Macaroons are not French cookies! They are coconut. Mayim should not have accepted as correct.”

As fans were trolling Bialik over her poor hosting, another critic has been added to her "worst host ever" list as one more fan commented, “Mayim let tonight’s winner slide under the wire  with a wrong answer. Macarons and macaroons are not the same cookie. Gee!”

One viewer wrote, “@missmayim MACAROONS ARE NOT MACARONS! #jeopardy #BadJeopardyJudges.” Another said, “Wait wait wait... Did #Jeopardy really decide that macaroons and macarons are the same thing?! Those terms are not interchangeable!”

Not the first time, Mayim Bialik

It wasn’t the first time ‘Jeopardy!’ host Mayim Bialik has left fans furious over correcting the incorrect responses of the contestant. Earlier this week, contestant Ilhana and Kyle Marshall had a face-off against Lisa Gargiulo. Kyle selected a $1,000 clue that read, “Some workplaces have this network of linked computers, sort of the company-wide web.” Kyle answered, “Internet.” Fans deems the answer was incorrect, however, Bialik ruled, “That’s correct. Intranet.” Critics argued that Bialik is not up for the hosting job and should be replaced as the ‘Internet’ and ‘Intranet’ both sound different and are not the same thing.
