'Hope it's part of the movie': Fans shocked as Lady Gaga kisses woman amid 'Joker 2' filming

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Lady Gaga was in the mood for some amorous frolicking when she was shooting for ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ at the Manhattan court in New York City on Sunday. In a viral clip, the Academy Award-winning singer for ‘Shallow’ could be seen walking upstairs in the city court through a crowd parted in the middle to make her way, when she suddenly backtracked her steps and planted a full kiss on the lips of a woman standing in the crowd. 

The crowd probably was made of the cast and crews of the second film of the ‘Joker’ franchise as Gaga, 36, was pictured with the director of the movie, Todd Philips. For the sequence, Gaga was dressed in a blue, white, and red floral printed dress with black stockings with a hole in the left knee. She chose to accessorize with a dark blue overcoat to beat the cold.

Lady Gaga has been roped in to play the role of Dr. Harleen Quinzel, subsequently Harley Quinn in the second installment of ‘Joker’, named ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’. There will probably be a romantic angle shown between Batman’s arch enemy Joker and Harley Quinn as suggested by the film’s title which literally means “delusion or mental illness shared by two people in close association”. 

On the occasion of Valentine’s day, director Todd Philips posted a snap of Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck sharing an intimate moment.

One disillusioned fan commented, "Ou not the queerbaitin," to which another replied, "Gaga stans going to attack you and say that she’s bi, but who was the last woman she dated I’ll wait…. One fan praised Gaga by saying, "Margot couldn’t kiss that good btw Gaga is the lesbian mother!" "You guys know gaga and harley is both queer right so they can't queer bait be real in the comments for once," quipped another.
