‘Best vocals’: Lady Gaga leaves fans in tears with make-up free performance of ‘Hold My Hand’ at Oscars 2023
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lady Gaga's breathtaking performance at the Oscars 2023 of her nominated 'Top Gun: Maverick' tune 'Hold My Hand' was a last-minute power-balled surprise. The iconic songstress's gig did not only move the Oscar audience to tears but the viewers also claim that she had them on their "knees bawling."
Lady Gaga, who appeared for the 95th Academy Awards clad in an all-black gown and makeup, appeared in a simple black T-shirt and ripped jeans without makeup as she wrung every bit of emotion out of the tune. “It’s deep and personal for me,” she said before singing the song. “And we all need heroes some time.” Lady Gaga added it’s great when “you get to be your own hero.”
