LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amazon Prime Video is known to have contributed to some great films and TV shows in the last few years, from 'Candyman' to 'House of Gucci'. The latest project by Prime is an unusual adventure comedy that highlights the characteristics of a Virgo boy, who is on a quest to find the adventures and greatness that the world has to offer. 'I'm A Virgo' is a show starring Jharrel Jerome in the lead as a 13-foot tall boy, who as the title suggests, is a Virgo. Cootie (Jerome) is a native of Oakland, California, who spends his time binge-watching TV shows and animated series. When he encounters his real-life superhero, dubbed The Hero (Walton Goggins), Cootie finds himself on course for a mythical quest.

The cast of the series consists of Brett Gray, Kara Young, Allius Barnes, Olivia Washington, Mike Epps, Carmen Ejogo, and Walton Goggins.

Since the trailer has been released, many fans on Twitter have swarmed the internet with messages of excitement and confusion. It has also led to many astrology enthusiasts requesting the makers not to drag Virgos into this. "Yes and we VIRGO’s stick together! August 27th" added a user; "can virgos stay being the forgotten star sign please" chimed another. Some users were waiting for this project for quite some time and wrote, "Been hyped for this for a long time" with another writing, "happy to see jharrel back on screen!"



 



 



 



 

'Boots Riley finally back with another banger'

Known for 'Sorry to Bother You' (2018), 'The Losers' (2010) and 'Superbad' (2007), Boots Riley was truly missed from the directing game and fans have taken a breath of fresh air, since the trailer release of 'I'm A Virgo', as the Amazon Prime series is written, directed and executively produced by Boots Riley. A user added, "you had me at “Boots Ril-", while another chimed in, "Boots Riley finally back with another banger." One user expressed their love towards the 'When They See Us' star Jharrel Jerome and wrote, "Jharrel Jerome, love that guy." While some expressed their disappointment with the movie 'Sorry To Bother You' and were not quite sure about Riley's new project, "After the horse people idk what to expect lol"
