Creators

'I’m A Virgo', a co-production of Amazon Studios and Media Res project, is created and written by Boots Riley, who also serves as executive producer, along with Michael Ellenberg through Media Res, and Jerome. Riley, who is also set to direct the series, said according to a press statement, "I’m thrilled to be working with Amazon on this project. This show will either have me lauded or banned and as such, I have demanded payment upfront." Riley's first feature 'Sorry to Bother You', which he wrote and directed, was one of the most buzzed-about films at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize.  Later that year he signed a script deal with Media Res, which became 'I'm a Virgo'.
