Fans adore Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy, 10, as she looks grown up in 'Proud Family' themed Halloween snap

Blue Ivy was dressed as Penny, the cartoon's main character, while Beyonce took a double role by playing both Trudy and Suga Mama

Blue Ivy Carter is not a little child anymore. Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy looked all grown up in a new Instagram post shared on Thursday, October 3, showcasing the family's Halloween celebration. Beyonce and her family chose the Disney animated series 'The Proud Family' as the theme for their Halloween costumes. While the theme was enough to get fans excited, it seemed Blue Ivy took some of the focus away from her celeb mom. 

Beyonce's husband Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, and twins Rumi and Sir can all be seen in the snap looking absolutely stunning while decked up as the characters of 'The Proud Family'. Beyonce took a double role by playing both Trudy, the matriarch, and the cartoon's witty grandma, Suga Mama. Meanwhile, Blue Ivy was dressed as Penny, the main character of the animated comedy series, who is known for sporting long pigtails and a preppy outfit.

Beyonce rarely shares pics of her children. The family snap soon received a flurry of positive reactions on Instagram and Twitter.

"Wow Beyonce got WHOLE KIDS oh my God!!!!!" one comment read. Another wrote, "It's Blue Ivy for me." "I'm literally crying at Blue," someone else chimed in. Another commented, "I bet that's Blue's real hair too."

The 'Crazy In Love' singer flawlessly replicated Suga Mama by donning the character's distinctive bubblegum pink housecoat, square-framed glasses, cane, and silver hair. She also dressed up as Trudy by wearing a neon green blazer, a marigold bustier, and high-waisted brown pants. Wearing a white button-up shirt, a purple tie, and dark blue pants, Jay-Z resembled the silly 'Proud family' patriarch Oscar. Blue Ivy, 10, nailed the central character Penny to a t, while Rumi and Sir, five, were costumed as Penny's cheeky younger siblings, BeBe and CeCe Proud, who also happen to be fraternal twins.

One fan wrote on Twitter, "I love them so much: face_holding_back_tears." Another tweeted, "This is perfect." A happy fan wrote, "Aw this is cute! Ofc Beyonce is Sugam Mama :sob:" 

The 'Proud Family' aired in the early 2000s and ran for three seasons on the Disney Channel. The cartoon, which premiered in 2001, had 52 episodes on the network and ended in 2004. Soleil Moon Frye, who played Punky Brewster, and Disney actress Kyla Pratt both provided voiceovers for it, while Tara Strong gave voice to Penny's twin siblings.
