Macaulay Culkin and 'Eternals' star among star names guest-appearing on 'Fallout' Season 2
'Fallout' Season 2 had some star names making guest appearances. Johnny Pemberton was one major name that fans saw. To add, 'Home Alone' star Macaulay Culkin had his share of the spotlight as the Roman cosplayer, Lacerate Legate, who handles Lucy’s (Ella Purnell) intake by the dog-helmeted goons of Legion. Adding to the list is 'Eternals' star Kumail Nanjiani as Paladin Xander.
What's worth noting is that Culkin does not play a character from any of the 'Fallout' games and is an original character, adding a key role to the show's ability to maximize the potential of its star-studded names. At the time of writing, there is no official word on whether he will return for more episodes in season 2. His character has been instrumental in Caesar's Legion and its existence after 'New Vegas'.
In his interview with PEOPLE, Walton Goggins, who has worked with Culkin before, didn't know about the star's addition to the show. "I have influence over very little," the actor said when asked if he played a role in Culkin landing the role. "I didn't know about him because they don't tell me a lot of things. Justin [Theroux] I knew about, obviously, and Jon [Gries] and a few other people, but Macaulay I didn't know about."
"When they told me, I just lit up because I think the world of him," Goggins added. "We had such a great time on Righteous Gemstones, we became friends after that." He adds, "The way he fits into this world is so specific, and he is so uniquely suited for it. I'm just grateful that he said yes and that he was onboard."
At the time of writing, there is no official synopsis listed for Episode 4. The logline for the season reads, "In the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale, take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas." The new season of 'Fallout' premieres December 16, 2025, on Prime Video. The episodes drop weekly. Season 2 stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner in major roles."
New episodes of Fallout season 2 drop Wednesdays on Prime Video until the finale, slated for February 4, 2026.
