'Extraction': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about Netflix's latest action flick starring Chris Hemsworth
These are tough times. The coronavirus outbreak has made the world come to a halt and that has increased reliance on TV and streaming platforms to kill time. April, in particular, is an action-packed month for Netflix as it pumps enough action-thriller dramas to while away your idle hours. One of them is Chris Hemsworth's 'Extraction' that is sure to make up for the grief that we're facing for missing catching cinemas in theatres. The flick sees Hemsworth play a black market mercenary who is about to face his most dangerous mission yet.

Plot
The official synopsis on Netflix reads, "Tyler Rake (Hemsworth) is a fearless black market mercenary with nothing left to lose when his skills are solicited to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. But in the murky underworld of weapons, dealers and drug traffickers, an already deadly mission approaches the impossible, forever altering the lives of Rake and the boy."

Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake
The Australian actor rose to prominence playing Kim Hyde in the Australian TV series 'Home and Away'. His most critically acclaimed roles include the comedy horror,'The Cabin in the Woods', and the biographical sports film 'Rush', in which he portrayed James Hunt. He is best known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
David Harbour
Harbour is known for his role of Chief Jim Hopper in 'Stranger Things'. He is set to play the Red Guardian in Marvel's 'Black Widow' alongside Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz.
Manoj Bajpayee
Bajpayee is an Indian film actor who predominantly works in Hindi cinema. In 2019, the actor was given India's fourth-highest civilian honor Padma Shri for his contribution to art.
Randeep Hooda, Rohit Sukhwani, Rudraksh Jaiswal, Marc Donato, Fay Masterson, Derek Luke, Pankaj Tripathi, Priyanshu Painyulli, Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, and Suraj Rikame round up the rest of the cast.
Writer/Director
'Extraction' is directed by a top-tier crew. Sam Hargrave, known for his stunt work in the MCU serves as the director, while Joe and Anthony Russo (Fellow MCU alums), Mike LaRocca, Eric Gitter, Peter Schwerin and Hemsworth serve as co-producers.
