Spoiler alert for 'Everything's Gonna Be Okay' Season 1

Nicholas always has a way of making sure that not only are his sisters happy, but he also has their backs.

In this episode titled, 'Monarch Butterflies', Nicholas (Josh Thomas) breaks down under the pressure of having to make sure his sisters are on the right path in life.

From Genevieve's (Maeve Press) poor reports at school to the fact that Matilda (Kayla Cromer) isn't preparing for her upcoming time in New York, Nicholas is forced to make things clear that none of this is okay.

"Nicholas handing out life lessons to Matilda and Genevieve during a relaxing walk is charming in a Nicholas way #EverythingsGonnaBeOkay," tweeted a fan. After the death of their father, Nicholas' and his sister lost someone that could help them understand the real-world.

When he finds out that his sisters have not been doing well at school, he lets his frustration out leading to hurtful words from both parties. However, he decides that a hike involving the trio venting and positive feedback was the right way to cement their bond as siblings.

"I know he wasn't anywhere near prepared to take on the job of raising two teenage girls, but Nicholas is actually a really awesome brother. #EverythingsGonnaBeOkay," tweeted another fan.

With Matilda heading to New York after high school to attend Julliard, there is a lot of pressure that she understands how to live on her own. She has to learn the fundamental skills that are needed for her to get herself around the state, just as how to deal with loud noises and obnoxious crowds.

Not to mention, she has to prepare to understand social cues as well. Nicholas had the perfect idea for her to prepare, "Nicholas is trying & a trip for all of them to New York is a great start. @JoshThomas87 @EverythingsOkTV #EverythingsGonnaBeOkay," tweeted a fan, appreciating his bright solution.

Like us, fans don't have any doubts that the girls have the right guardian to look up to, "This whole hike and talk is amazing. Nicholas can really pull out the parenting when he needs to. I love this little family so much. #EverythingsGonnaBeOkay," tweeted another fan.

Becoming a guardian to his orphaned sisters — one of whom is autistic — is not the easiest task for Nicholas, but he seems to be getting the hang of it. Siblings don't always get along, but we see Nichola's sterner side in this episode, and he seems to have grasped the concept of balancing out the fun and serious aspect of raising his sisters.

'Everything's Gonna Be Okay' airs every Thursday at 7.30 pm CST on Freeform.
