LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Elle King recounted the scary fall down her stairs that left her unconscious with a concussion and amnesia when she was home alone with her 1-year-old son. The 'Ex's & Oh's' hitmaker talked about how she has been recovering after the fall incident that happened in December to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, December 3.

"I can laugh now, because I'm doing a lot better, but it was a very intense thing. They said I got amnesia and got a post-concussion syndrome," she shared. The 33-year-old singer explained that she was "walking down steps in the middle of the night, to make a bottle," when she slipped and knocked herself unconscious. However, this was not the most worrying detail about the story for King. She went on to admit that the scariest part about the incident was that she was home alone with her 18-month-old son, Lucky, at that time. The artist shares her son with her fiance Dan Tooker. "The baby is totally fine, and I'm doing a lot better," she confirmed.

"What I love about Nashville is the community that I haven't really had in any of the last multiple cities that I've lived in, even if I've had a bunch of friends. There's something beautiful about this city and my friends and my music family, they all totally gathered around me and were all so supportive and showed up for me and helped me with the baby," King said while confirming that she is in ongoing recovery. "A lot of stretches, and a lot of, like, quiet, downtime which has never been my strong suit."

Following the scary fall incident, King canceled several radio shows. King confirmed the news by penning down an emotional note for her fans on social media, "Just wanted to check in with a quick update and apologize to my fans in Tampa, Detroit, and Seattle. I share your disappointment that I had to cancel my radio shows this week. No one ever wants to pull out of shows, especially me. I live for performing," she wrote on her Instagram story, as per Fox News. "I tried to push through and played 3 shows, but the travel, lights, all of it only exacerbated things."

King will be dropping her upcoming album 'Come Get Your Wife' on January 27 while the lead single 'Tulsa' comes out this Friday, January 6. "It's just a wild song, and it was a song that was so fun," she shared, referring to the track. "Ashley McBryde came in and sang harmonies with me... John Osborne came and played some really badass guitar, I can't wait for everybody to hear it because it's definitely one of my favorite songs on the album."
