What could be more interesting then pen pals separated by distance and united by some sort of revenge perhaps? Lifetime is all set to drop 'Dying To Be You' this weekend and it's going to get interesting because the film is all about how two friends convene only to find out that one of them has evil intentions at heart.

Release date

'Dying to Be You' premieres on February 29, Saturday, at 8/7c on Lifetime.

Plot

When in fourth grade, Chicago-based Lily Anderson was assigned a pen pal who lived on a Nebraskan farm. The two continue writing to each other through school and college.

In their letters, the two promise to visit the other and one fine day, Lily finds Molly at her doorstep on the day of her 25th birthday. It was nothing short of a pleasant surprise that went sour when Lily learned that her well-meaning pen pal had no intention of leaving her house and that she wants Lily's life.

The thriller-drama stars Natalie Dreyfuss and Elise Gatien star in key roles.

Natalie has recently featured in the superhero TV series 'The Flash' and had won the viewers over with her seamless performance as Sue Dearbon.

Talking about auditioning for the role and sharing screen space with Hartley Sawyer (The elongated man), she told DC Comics: "I think when I auditioned for the role, walking in for a chemistry read and having it be an old friend was just such a lovely surprise. And also I'm so comfortable messing with him."

She is also known for her recurring role as Chloe in 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager.'

Showrunner

Danny J. Boyle of 'Killer In Law' has directed the film, with Sebastian Battro as the executive producer and Lisa Di Trolio as the writer.
