'Dancing with the Stars': Nev Schulman wows with 'Black Swan'-inspired sensual Paso Doble, fans say he's on fire

Nev's had an impressive run on the show and he proved he's not slowing down anytime soon as he wowed with the Paso Doble, a dance style so tricky, that it has left quite a few contestants in the bottom two

Hardcore 'Dancing with the Stars' viewers know how tricky it is to impress the judges with the Paso Doble style of ballroom dancing. Quite a few contestants have found themselves on the bottom rung after trying to do a decent job on the dance floor with it, and have failed massively while doing so.

For instance, this season's most controversial contestant, Carole Baskin, who's now eliminated, courtesy of her Paso Doble performance. Another example is of Jeannie Mai who attempted the style and look where it left her. She was one vote short of going home on Monday night's episode but her consistent performances in the past helped her escape eliminations and Monica Aldama was sent home instead. However, the danger of the fast-paced, double-step dance style notorious for many eliminations failed to affect 'Catfish' host Nev Schulman. He stomped on to the floor with his partner Jenna Johnson and did a very sensual routine inspired by his favorite film, 'Black Swan'. 

Nev's expressions which were very sinister but also necessary, his body language, his stance, the lines, everything was on point. He's been one of the best performers this season, he's a trained dancer but that doesn't take away from the fact that there's a lot of work that he puts into his performances. He truly matches Jenna Johnson who's an exceptional performer and that's huge. The judges validated all his efforts by making him the first celebrity on Season 29 to earn the perfect score, 10s across the board. The perfect 30 points also put Nev and Jenna right at the top of the leaderboard and no one tied with them in this episode and the next highest scores were three points less than their 30. 

Audiences have shown Nev a lot of love this season. His other show 'Catfish' Season 9 too is on the air currently on MTV and it's just that the audiences can't escape him and definitely can't hold back from showing him a lot of love. "Nothing in the world could prepare me for the AMAZING NEV AND JENNA!!!! How did we get this lucky to have these two on the show I LOVE YOU BOTH," wrote a fan. "Honestly, the way @NevSchulman gets to the dance floor and KILLS IT EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK! Like boiiii, who would've thought Nev can MOVE like this. I am just so proud! #DWTS" tweeted another. "Nev getting that perfect score was absolutely deserved he’s SO GOOD #DWTS" read another tweet.

'Dancing with the Stars' airs Mondays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
