Dua Lipa has shared her latest single on January 30, titled 'Physical', from her upcoming album titled 'Future Nostalgia'. The track follows the previous single releases from the sophomore LP, 'Don’t Start Now' and also the title track.

On January 10, the 24-year-old English synth-pop singer also shared a six-track remix EP for 'Don’t Start Now'. 'Future Nostalgia' is set for release on April 3.

The driving, electronic pop track resonates as a contemporary upbeat sentiment on Olivia Newton-John's 1981 blockbuster 'Physical'. Lipa sings, “All night I’ll riot with you. I know you got my back and you know I got you. So come on, come on, come on. Let’s get physical”.

After working as a model, Lipa signed with Warner Music Group in 2015 and released her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album yielded seven singles, including two UK top-ten singles 'Be the One', 'IDGAF' and the UK number-one single 'New Rules', which also reached number six in the United States.

Lipa has a list of awards and nominations since her debut, including two Grammys in 2019 for Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording, three Brit Awards, and one NME Award.

Twitter included a multitude of funny and interesting responses to the release of 'Physical' like GIFs, praise for the singer and more. Some including, "Guys, Dua Lipa is really here to revive pop music with physical", and 'Physical' by Dua Lipa a cultural reset I think".

“What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favorite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine”, she said in a statement about the upcoming LP, according to Rolling Stone. “I was inspired by so many artists on the new record.  From Gwen Stefani to Madonna to Moloko to Blondie and Outkast, to name just a few.”
