The energy is infectious, and the zeal is endless. 2020 is here, and people are ringing it in at the 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest' at New York. The first performance to kickstart the celebrations is Dua Lipa, who sang 'One Kiss'.

Fans were mesmerised by her voice and took to social media to tweet their happiness. "Killin it!" One fan wrote. Others shared gifs and video clips of her singing.

What better way to start 2020? But this isn't it just yet, as there'a lineup of over 30 electric performances for many breathless fans. At Times Square, the performers are Post Malone, BTS, Sam Hunt, Alanis Morissette and the Broadway cast of 'Jagged Little Pill'. In Miami, the Jonas Brothers will be sure to enthrall the fans, and at New Orleans where Billie Porter is the host, Sheryl Crow and Usher will be singing too.

Ryan Seacrest is the host, and he will be noting the countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City, with live reporting from actress and co-host Lucy Hale. Ciara will bring in the New Year from the West Coast at the Hollywood Party, and actor Billy Porter will host the celebration, live from New Orleans.

This year's 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest' is touted to be the #1 music special of 2019, and this year's special will mark the 48th anniversary of America's largest New Year's Eve celebration, with five and a half hours of performances and interviews across four cities in three-time zones across the US.

The special is produced by Dick Clark productions with Ryan Seacrest, Barry Adelman and Mark Bracco serving as executive producers and Larry Klein serving as producer.

It is airing right now.
