NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Even though Megyn Kelly criticized Drew Barrymore for being a "woke, weak, white woman," Barrymore's admirers are complimenting the actress for her empathy after she spoke with trans-TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney about the discrimination she encounters. The two got down on the floor and talked about how they both deal with receiving critical remarks in one of the most heartwarming interviews in 'The Drew Barrymore Show'.

Barrymore asked Mulvaney about how she handles the barrage of online hate, to which Mulvaney said, "There’s so much hatred directed at the trans community right now, it’s everywhere. I think the greatest weapon that I can contribute is trans joy and comedy and talking about hard subjects." Mulvaney routinely calls herself a "girl" rather than a woman, has referred to herself as a "bimbo" several times, and once compared herself to a Barbie doll, as per Daily Mail.

On Tuesday, March 13, on the controversial episode of 'The Drew Barrymore Show', Mulvaney stated, "It's interesting because I look at someone like you and I cannot imagine anybody disliking you." "Oh, please, do you want to know ironically who dislikes me the most sometimes?" Barrymore genuinely asked as she got up from her seat and kneeled down, "Myself."

'That's her shtick'

According to one commenter, "TERFs" can gush endlessly over Drew Barrymore bowing down to Dylan Mulvaney, but it is just her act. She is constantly on the ground! Supporters claim that those criticizing Drew Barrymore for displaying compassion and sitting on the ground have never watched her show. She allegedly does this with many guests to make them feel more at ease and to make the interview appear less official.

"Now I love her move than ever," exclaimed one of the online followers. Another user said, "Yeah she literally crawled across to hug Christine (Ben Stillers wife who’s last name escapes me) in a video I watch the other day, she’s always doing that." Another fan joked, "Omg lol when I saw that photo of Drew with Dylan I thought transphobes were angry because she proposed to her."

"Why? She would comfort anyone. That’s called compassion. Women comfort other women all the time. This is no different," wrote another Barrymore fan. "That is a taught action for compassion and understanding. It’s even taught to personal trainers to connect with clients. Leave this woman alone," exclaimed another. "Thank you @DrewBarrymoreTV@DrewBarrymore for showing the world an example of kindness, acceptance and love. The world needs so much more of this. Dylan Mulvaney is a beautiful human being, as are you," wrote another fan.

Megyn Kelly slams Drew Barrymore

Barrymore gave off the impression of bowing to Mulvaney, a well-known TikTok user who recently visited President Joe Biden in the White House. However, the act has drawn criticism on social media, with many pointing out that she was on her knees for a singer who has been condemned by some for denigrating gender with her infantilized online persona.

Megyn Kelly criticized Drew Barrymore for being a "woke, weak, white woman" after the starlet bowed to a transgender activist who has been accused of sexism over her online persona. Kelly, who questioned "Where are the strong women?" among other spectators, felt hurt by the gesture. The former anchor of Fox News remarked about the conversation between Barrymore and the TikTok user, in which they candidly discussed online hatred.
