Nickelodeon star Drake Bell 'enters treatment' after separating from wife Janet Von Schmeling
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Disgraced Nickelodeon actor Jared Drake Bell has reportedly been separated from his wife Janet Von Schmeling, and is heading for a divorce. According to sources, the 36-year-old actor has also entered treatment.
Bell started his treatment after he was seen huffing balloons with their son sitting in the backseat of their car in the parking lot of a vape shop in California, according to Page Six. On this matter, Schmeling stated that she 'had enough' and has shifted back to Florida with their son.

MEAWW previously reported that Bell pleaded guilty to two charges in 2021 related to crimes in 2017 which involved a minor. At present, he is serving a two-year probation and 200 hours of community service for child endangerment. He was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a 15-year-old girl from Canada during his concert in Cleveland in 2017.
For more than thirty minutes, Bell was reportedly inhaling a balloon inside his parked car and it remains unclear if the balloon contained any substance. Bell's sleeping son was taken out from the backseat of the car and was taken inside his house, according to the Daily Mail.
As per the Page Six report, a source referring to the now-separated couple told that "they had some incredible beautiful times before. He needs to focus on being healthy and they'll be great co-parents in the future. It's a bad moment in time for Drake. But he is a great dad when he is healthy and sober."
In the year 2013, the 28-year-old actress and the 'Drake & Josh' alum, started dating, and in 2018, the duo got married in an intimate ceremony. Page Six reported that Von Schmeling who has moved back to Florida with their son has closed on a home and receives support from her family.
Bill was charged with drunken driving in 2015 which was reportedly his second DUI conviction within the period of six years. In 2020, his ex-girlfriend Melissa Lingafelt claimed on a TikTok video that the disgraced star had been verbally and physically abusive to her.
Lingafelt explained in the one-minute 13-second video about the abuse and said, "When I say verbal abuse, imagine the worst type of verbal abuse you could ever imagine, and that was what I got. It then turned into physical — hitting, throwing, everything. At the pinnacle of it, he drugs me down the stairs of our house in Los Feliz. My face hit every step on the way down. I have photos of this. I don’t even want to get into the underage girls' thing. I mean I will, but I’m scared.” However, Bell denied the claims.
