Brandon Flowers looks like Drake Bell? The Killers singer sparks off meme fest after Monday Night Football

Brandon Flowers’s uncanny resemblance to the American actor Drake Bell gave birth to the newest memes on Twitter

Singer-songwriter Brandon Flowers, who is known as the frontman of Las Vegas-based rock band The Killers, most recently performed at the opening ceremony of Monday Night Football in Las Vegas. The band kicked-off the opener with a stellar rooftop Halftime Show. While The Killers' performance was a hit with the audience and the Internet, eagle-eyed viewers noticed his uncanny resemblance with the American actor Drake Bell and thus was born a new set of memes for Twitter. 

One user said, “Brandon flowers (the singer of the killers) looks like john mulaney but drake bell but andrew garfield all at the same time what” One Twitterati stated, “Brandon Flowers looks like an older version of Drake Bell during that halftime show @nfl  #MondayNightFootball”  Another individual added, “It's weird how brandon flowers and drake bell are morphing into the same person.”

Continuing to make fun of the similarities between the two, one user posted, “Also if Charlie Sheen and Drake Bell had a baby it would be Brandon Flowers from The Killers” One social media user said, “You know I've never noticed this before but Brandon Flowers looks like the cooler older brother of Drake Bell.” Another person stated, “I was watching Brandon Flowers perform tonight and kept thinking he looked like Drake Bell.  Glad someone else has thought this Face with tears of joy”

Apart from the trolls, Flowers also got praised for his performance at the Monday Night Football opening ceremony. One user on Twitter said, “The last thing I expected to see on MNF was Brandon Flowers performing on a Vegas rooftop...” Another added, “Don’t watch football but just turned to MNF on ABC just in time for The Killers!! If we talk about Bell, those who are not aware, he is a prominent actior in the United States. The 34-year-old actor is best known for his starring roles on Nickelodeon's ‘The Amanda Show’ and ‘Drake & Josh.’ Bell also garnered fame after he voiced Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the animated series ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ on Disney XD.

Bell is also a singer and a songwriter. He had dropped his first album in 2005 and his second album in 2006 which debuted at #81 on the Billboard 200, selling over 23,000 copies during its first week of release.
