According to the show's logline, "Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky is an action-comedy about two twins, Dak and Leyla, who were saved from a shipwreck when they were young by a loving dragon. She raised them along with her own son Winger. Dak and Leyla can ride dragons and speak with them since they grew up with them. Other humans cannot. These two children, together with their five dragon mates, are now repaying their mother's generosity by saving dragons and humanity." This series is based in the same universe as 'How to Train Your Dragon' but offers completely new characters, places, and tales intended for a younger crowd.

Nicolas Cantu

Nicolas Cantu from 'The Walking Dead: World Beyond' will voice the character Dak. He is also known as Junky Janker online and is an actor, content producer, and animator. Cantu is well recognized for his role as Diego Márquez in 'Dora and Friends: Into the City'.


Brennley Brown

The character Leyla will be voiced by Brennley Brown. She appeared in Season 12 of The Voice as a contestant. She was also the first competitor in Season 12 to get an iTunes multiplier for her performance of Linda Ronstadt's 'Long Long Time' in the Top 12.
