We are halfway into 2022 but P1Harmony is booked and busy as they are now set to come back with their third lead single of the year. Continuing with the sci-fi theme that fans loved during their debut, the boy group is creating a new storyline with their fourth mini-album ‘Harmony: Zero In’.  P1Harmony had first turned heads when they were introduced to K-pop in the most novel way by starring in the sci-fi film ‘P1H: The Beginning of a New World’. They expanded with this concept in the trilogy ‘Disharmony’ albums which ended in January 2022.

The third album in the series, ‘Disharmony: Find Out’ was P1Harmony’s best-selling album yet as it was in the top 3 of the Gaon Album Charts and gave them their highest sales yet with over 100k copies. They then went on to have their first US tour which got them all kinds of deserving opportunities. Fans were surprised as they were guests on the Trevor Noah show and became successful fanboys as Pink Sweat$ attended one of their concerts. If that wasn’t enough, the R&B star went on to collaborate with P1Harmony on ‘Gotta Get Back’. And now weeks later, the group is back with ‘Doom Du Doom’.

P1Harmony start a new chapter with ‘Harmony: Zero In’

P1Harmony shows off their range with their 2022 releases. While ‘Do It Like This’, the lead single of ‘Disharmony: Find Out’ was an energetic hip hop song, ‘Gotta Get Back’ with Pink Sweat$ was a mellow pop-R&B track. Well, for ‘Doom Du Doom’, which happens to be our gateway to their next series, P1Harmony create their own Olympic Games in the music video. The track is filled with synths, guitar riffs and a catchy hook that complements the groovy beat. They let the usual heavy bass sounds of their past releases take a back seat as we get a delicate arrangement that lets the boys flex their vocals as they sing about doing their own thing regardless of what people say.

P1Harmony also dropped mini-performance videos for all six tracks of the album. ‘Black Hole’ continues with the dance-rock sound as Theo and Jongseob hit every beat while dancing to the high-energy track. Jiung shows off his boyish charms with a laidback choreography for the cheerful ‘Yes Man’. Leader Keeho is all swag as he vibes to ‘Swagger’ with effortless dance moves. ‘Mirror Mirror’ is a song of epic scale complete with strong rap and unique melody while Intak took up the challenge to embody it with his clean and sharp dance moves. The album ends with the pop ballad ‘Different Song For Me’ as rapper and dancer Soul pleasantly surprised everyone with contemporary choreography.
