Donald Glover of Childish Gambino apparently dropped a surprise new album earlier on March 15, according to reports, but it has now been removed.

Several of his songs from his 12-song tracklist were streaming on a website called DonaldGloverPresents.com for some hours. Glover's manager Fam Rothstein had retweeted the link to the site, but the retweet has since been removed and Rothstein's Twitter account has been deleted. Several hours later, even the songs have disappeared.

It is also unclear what moniker Gambino is using for the new music. Additionally, it is also unclear what label (if any) is releasing the music on DonaldGloverPresents.com.

The website streamed Gambino's track 'Feels Like Summer' which released in 2018 as well as songs that appeared to feature 21 Savage and Ariana Grande. Fans have also claimed that alternative R&B singer SZA also made an appearance, according to Pitchfork.

Childish Gambino's last album 'Awaken, My Love!' was released four years ago in 2016. The third studio album had been nominated for a Grammy Award for 'Album of the Year' back in 2017.

In 2019, Glover returned with the Amazon Prime movie 'Guava Island' which co-starred Rihanna and was directed by Hiro Murai, while he also sang in 'The Lion King: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack' where he voiced the lead character Simba.

DonaldGloverPresents.com follows the chart-topping single 'This Is America', as well as 'Feels Like Summer' and 'Summertime Magic' from Gambino. Glover earned Grammy Awards last year for 'Song of the Year' and 'Record of the Year' for 'This is America', although he did not appear at the event.

Over the past few years, with early mentions in 2017, Glover had revealed that he would be retiring his stage name of Childish Gambino after his fourth album, although he signed with RCA in 2018 where he promised new music still using the moniker.

Glover's stardom has seen a steady increase since the release of 'Awaken, My Love!' in December 2016. Apart from his role in 'The Lion King', he has won several Golden Globes and Emmys, hosted 'Saturday Night Live', acted in the 'Star Wars' movie 'Solo: A Star Wars Story', as well as worked on Andrew Yang's presidential campaign. Additionally, Glover's FX comedy show 'Atlanta' is preparing its third and fourth seasons with a possible release in 2021, according to Esquire.com.
