Dolly Parton discredits fake keto and gummy ads using her name, says she's 'more the cake, cookie, and cornbread type'
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Dolly Parton and her team have discredited ads for gummy bears and the keto diet going around Facebook allegedly promoted by her. The 77-year-old is not endorsing any keto or CBD gummy product ads, according to Team Dolly, the singer's publicists.
The post stated, "Dolly Parton is not affiliated with, has not endorsed, and is not associated with any keto or CBD gummy product. She’s more the cake, cookie, and cornbread type." Scammers have recently published multiple adverts on Facebook in an effort to give the impression that Dolly has approved of several CBD gummies as a treatment for dementia. The singer has not done anything of the sort, according to her agents.

Scammers used Dolly Parton's name without authorization
The fact-checking website Snopes posted an article and identified the scammers who were using the country music star's name to lend credibility to the ads, as per Daily Mail. The article on Snoops said, "A simple search of Facebook showed that scammers were using Parton’s image and likeness without authorization."
Team Dolly took advantage of the circumstance by revealing that she loves cornbread, cookies, and cakes on purpose. She recently unveiled a limited-edition Dolly Parton Baking Collection in collaboration with Duncan Hines baked goods. Among other delicacies, it includes Dolly Parton's Caramel Turtle Brownie Mix, Fabulously Fudgy Brownie Mix, and Sweet Cornbread & Muffin Mix.

The 'Jolene' singer also revealed that she performed a cover of 'The Beatles' song 'Let It Be' with Paul McCartney for her upcoming album 'Rock Star'. The diva revealed the wonderful news about her newest duet in an interview with Rachael Ray. She said, "I've got a lot of wonderful iconic songs that people love and wonderful iconic singers joining me on them."
Dolly said that she collaborated on a song with Elton John for her 49th studio album, which will include singers like Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks, Steven Tyler, Joan Jett, Steve Perry, and John Fogerty. Additionally, the 'Joyful Noise' actress said that her well-known goddaughter Miley Cyrus will also appear in the forthcoming album, "We're definitely going to have her on."
Led Zeppelin's 1971 hit 'Stairway to Heaven' will also be featured on the album, and Dolly already previewed her newest song, 'Rockin', at the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Los Angeles on November 5. The 10-time Grammy winner also shared with Rachael: "I wrote a little special song for that to, kind of, sum up my feelings about how I wasn't sure I was a rock star, but you know me well enough to know I'm not going to let an opportunity go by." She continued: "I thought if I'm ever going to do a rock & roll album which I often dreamed someday I might, that time is now. So, I reached out to a lot of the friends who were on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with me when we were there those few days rehearsing."
