Doja Cat had fans in stitches on January 14 when she dropped a humorous line in the new remix for Ariana Grande's '34 + 35'. The remix features a collaboration with Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, and while the original lyrics include sexual puns and double entendres, the remix gives it a sassier touch.

The song's title itself evaluates to 69 if you add the two numbers, referring to the sex position. When Doja hits in on the second verse, she drops a single line that disses Tekashi 6ix9ine. Over a snappy trap beat, Doja raps: "Can we stay up all night? Fuck a jet lag. You bring your fine ass and overnight bag. Add up the numbers or get behind that. Play and rewind that, listen, you'll find that. I want that six-nine without Tekashi."

It's no secret that Tekashi is a target for much humor and one who has been regarded as a troll in the industry, but Doja's single line on the controversial rapper was enough to get her trending on Twitter.

"Tekashi gonna wake up to chaos it’s so funny to me #3435REMIX" said a fan while another wrote, "THEIR VERSES ARE SO GOOD..... doja's "i want the 69 without tekashi" line will now be engraved to my soul." One fan said, "doja had the best verse.. end of discussion." ANother said, "Doja said she wanted that 69 without tekashi...i might have to stan her now, there’s no other choice." Another said, "Me listening to “I want a 69 without Tekashi”. The shaaaaaaade ugh I love it. Queen Ariana, Miss Doja Cat and Megan Thee mothafucking Stallion really slay #3435REMIX."

It's unclear as to why exactly Doja threw shade at Tekashi other than to seemingly poke fun, but it could have all stemmed from issues back in May last year when they first started feuding over who deserved the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts, according to Complex. Furthermore, that same month Tekashi also sought to cancel Doja when he posted several comments on Instagram. He added fuel when Doja came under fire on social media after it was alleged that she had taken part in racist video chats in the past. She later apologized but Tekashi stepped into the spotlight once again with the comment, “She started with the wrong one… give me till tomorrow #canceldoja.” In another post, he added, “Someone called her Doja Dog."
