Did Jennifer Lawrence have a boy or girl? Actress has first child with Cooke Maroney
Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly given birth to her first baby with her husband Cooke Maroney. The actress sparked pregnancy rumors last summer when she was photographed in NYC. The rumors have now come true and this is the first child of both Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney.
Public records obtained by TMZ claimed that the Oscar-winning actor welcomed her baby in Los Angeles County. However, the exact date of her delivery is unknown, and so is the sex of the baby. Lawrence got engaged to Maroney in early 2019, and the pair tied the knot in October of the same year. Lawrence and Maroney mostly kept their relationship out of the public eye. Lawrence does not even have an Instagram account.

Jennifer Lawrence marries art dealer boyfriend Cooke Maroney in intimate Rhode Island ceremony
Lawrence and Maroney first met in 2018 after being introduced by the actress's best friend Laura Simpson. The pair soon started dating, but took extra care to keep everything under the wraps. They were first linked with each other around June 2018, but neither of them opened up about it. "He’s a great guy. He’s smart and funny, and I think really keeps her on her toes and he doesn’t treat her like a celebrity like the other boyfriends did,” an insider source revealed about Maroney soon after things started getting serious. The director of New York's Gladstone Gallery originally hails from Vermont, while JLaw is a native of Kentucky. He holds a degree in art history from New York University. His father James Maroney was also an art dealer who served as the Head of American Paintings At Christie's in Manhattan. Cooke Maroney himself has worked with famed painters like Carroll Dunham, sculptor Matthew Barney who used to date Björk, among others.
The pair got engaged in an intimate ceremony in February 2019, following which Lawrence first spoke about him in public. She opened up about Maroney on Catt Sandler's podcast in June 2019. "I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married'. I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person in the planet and you’re like you can’t leave. So I wanted to take that offer," she had said back then. Months later, reports surfaced that the couple got married in a secret ceremony in Rhode Island.
