Jennifer Lawrence's engagement to fiance Cooke Maroney was announced in February after speculation about their relationship hit headlines. Their relationship became public after Lawrence was photographed with an engagement ring and now it looks like the two may get married very soon.

The couple hosted a low-key engagement party at Dumbo, Brooklyn, New York, where reportedly phones were banned. It was the 'Dark Phoenix' actor's stylist who posted the picture of her on Instagram

According to a report on Bazaar.com, the event was attended by family and friends Sunday and the couple only revealed the details about the venue on the day. A source was also quoted confirming that among many actors, Emma Stone was present at the celebration.

The stylist partners Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson captioned the picture, "Congrats to the soon to be Mrs. 💕💍 Perfect JL looking like a dream in the Juliana dress." Her makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi also shared the same picture and captioned it, "YES!!! What a joy to be part of this magic moment!! 💘 Here she comes! We couldn’t be happier and more excited for #jenniferlawrence to become a #MRS.. this weekend we toasted Jen and her groom to be.. too good of a time was had by all 💕💕💕."

While Lawrence was seen in an L. Wells Bridal dress called the Juliana, Maroney looked dapper in a blue suit, gray tie, and brown leather shoes. Lawrence was rumored to be dating Maroney in the summer of 2018.

The New York art gallerist and the actor have since been spotted together many times. According to a report in People, a source, when the couple got engaged in February, said the reason Lawrence and Maroney are great together is that the latter is not from Hollywood. "He’s a great guy. He’s smart and funny and I think really keeps her on her toes and he doesn’t treat her like a celebrity like the other boyfriends did. He’s definitely the coolest guy she’s dated. [He’s] not affected by Hollywood," the source said.
