Happy birthday, Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson! As the popular Swedish singer, known by her stage name Tove Lo, turns 33 on Thursday, October 29, we want to pay tribute on her special day with some of her best tracks. Check out our top five Tove Lo songs below.

'Habits (Stay High)'

Tove Lo is an artiste with a flair for the unconventional and a fresh take on pop music and its sub-genres. And what better way to showcase that than to share one of her most popular tracks. 'Habits (Stay High)', with lyrics that express the singer's attempts to forget her past boyfriend through drinking, substance abuse and other hedonistic practices, was originally a sleeper hit.

And like a lot of her songs, Tove Lo's music quickly becomes more infectious with each listen. 'Habits (Stay High)' shot up in popularity a year after its release, impacting the charts and landing a spot on Billboard's Hot 100 at No 3. Additionally, it became the highest-charting song by a Swedish artiste on the chart since 'The Sign' by Ace of Base which peaked at No 1 in 1994.

'Talking Body'

Our favorite on today's Tove Lo Destination Jam playlist, 'Talking Body' bursts into a snappy rhythm and carefully crafted synth in a smooth blend of trip-hop, synthpop and indie pop as Lo seduces with lyrics like, "Now if we're talking body. You got a perfect one, so put it on me. Swear it won't take you long. If you love me right." Another track to impact the Billboard Hot 100 chart, 'Talking Body' peaked at No 12.

'Disco Tits' (NSFW)

If you're at work and/or prefer not to catch a glimpse of sexual activity between a puppet and a human, you'll want to avoid hitting play on the below music video. Yes, you heard that right, Tove Lo's 'Disco Tits' music video features the singer getting hot and heavy with a puppet on a road trip before doubling up on the raunchy activity with drugs and more sex in the second half of the clip. Watch the music video below.

'Sweettalk my Heart'

Tove Lo may be full of fun and unrelentingly raw, but the singer also has a softer, sweet side. Before breaking into a dancehall chorus, Tove Lo sings in the first verse over drops of bright synth, "Tell me you love me, tell me you're mine. Tell me, I know it, don't need a sign. But I feel different know you don't lie. But I want attention, commitment, intertwined. What are your dreams, give me the details all in-between. Just let me know ya, we can go far. Don't turn your shoulder, get colder, keep me warm." Listen to 'Sweettalk my Heart' below.

'Cool Girl'

The sultry 'Cool Girl' released in 2016 and features a music video presented as the first installment of the Tim Erem-directed short film 'Fairy Dust'. The film itself consists of six songs by Tove Lo off her sophomore studio album 'Lady Wood'. According to Lo, the lyrics theme the games couples play in their relationship because they are scared to be vulnerable.

Destination Jam is a daily list of songs that will keep you entertained and grooving up top in lieu of feeling drained and losing the plot. Look out for a fresh selection of great tunes from MEAWW to refresh your mood every day!
