Demi Lovato set to host new 'Pillow Talk' show on Quibi: 'We're excited to bring these frank conversations'

A few days after Demi Lovato kickstarted the Super Bowl LIV with a powerful rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' she recently revealed that she has a new gig lined up. 

The 'Stone Cold' singer will be hosting a talk show on the forthcoming digital service Quibi titled 'Pillow Talk With Demi Lovato' (provisional title). The talk show will showcase Demi conducting candid and unfiltered conversations with experts and celebrity guests. 

The talk show is slated to explore topics like activism, body positivity, sex, gender identity, relationships, social media and wellness.

In a statement, the singer and actress revealed, "I've always considered myself someone that speaks honestly about issues that face my generation. We're excited to bring those frank conversations to a public forum, where people can have the opportunity to relate to the topics and guests while finding room for laughter and learning."

Apart from being the host, Demi will also serve as the executive producer to the project alongside Scooter Braun, Allison Kaye and Scott Manson, JD Roth and Adam Greener. 'Pillow Talk With Demi Lovato' hails from Goodstory Entertainment and SB Projects. 

This talk show is one among the other slew of series that is currently under work at Quibi. The streaming service will also have a daily morning talk show that is hosted by Rachel Hollis the author of 'Girl, Wash Your Face' and 'Girl, Stop Apologizing'. 

Quibi was founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg and led by CEO Meg Whitman. The short-form streaming service launches on April 6.
