There's big news for Demi Lovato fans. It seems that we are getting some new music arriving real soon sometime in the morning. The 'No Promises' singer took to her Instagram to make a surprise announcement of an imminent new song.

The title of the song, the theme or the exact time of its release hasn't been revealed but if her latest posts on both Twitter and Instagram are anything to go by, it seems that it is scheduled to arrive "in the am" and is possibly centered around music itself always having her back.

"Music is always there for me... song in the am," Lovato wrote on Twitter.

For fans, Lovato's teaser came out of the blue and is a welcome surprise. Within less than an hour, her tweet drew over 3,000 comments and 6,000 retweets. Many fans let out an "OMG" in all caps while other stunned fans wrote comments like "omg love you" and "WHAT THE F**K."

One fan said, "OMG!!! WE CANT WAIT QUEEN!!!" while another wrote, "F**K YES!!" One fan responded to her message about music with "And we’re so thankful for yours." Another added, "Your music is always there for me, never stop making music."

Lovato's latest single titled 'OK Not to Be OK' featuring Marshmello, arrived on September 10. Prior to its release, Lovato collaborated with Sam Smith on their hit song 'I'm Ready' back in April.

'I'm Ready' was certified gold in Canada and reached the top 20 in Ireland, the Netherlands, Scotland, and the United Kingdom as well as the top 30 in Australia, Canada, Croatia, Lithuania, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Regarding a new album, Lovato's creative activity in 2020 looks like a foundational build-up to a larger project. Earlier this month, in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe to promote 'OK Not to Be OK', Lovato sought to turn rumors of a new album into something more concrete. "It's refreshing to get asked a question that I actually know the answer to, because there's been a lot of interviews or things lately where people are like, 'Hey, when's your album coming out' or 'when's your new music coming out?' And I just like, 'I don't know,'" she explained. More notably, Lovato added, "But finally, we have some stuff coming out in the next, definitely in the next month or… Ish. Yeah. Around there. Like I said, this is the beginning of it."
