'Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 1' Episode 1 shows us the Shadow Demons but we want to know when will the Anti-Monitor arrive?

With still four episodes to go, it does look like the writers have planned for an opportune moment for the evil entity to appear. Our gut feel says the Anti-Monitor may make an appearance in episode 3 in a cliffhanger moment

This article contains spoilers for 'Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 1'

'Crisis' is finally here. It has been one of the most-awaited crossovers on the small screen and part 1 of the five-chapter epic doesn't disappoint.  It lives up to its comic storyline by showing earths being decimated in the opening sequence by the anti-matter wave.  In addition to this, there are superhero team-ups, rescues and sacrifices.  And getting people off the planet isn't all as the heroes also face off against a multitude of Shadow Demons who appear and start consuming lives.

According to the comics, Shadow Demons were the silent assassins of the Anti-Monitor. They were the transmogrified essences of Weapons from the planet Qward whom the Anti-Monitor sent to defend his cosmic tuning forks on various Earths across the Multiverse during the Crisis. The Shadow Demons fought against the opposing forces of the Monitor, who had gathered together an assemblage of heroes to combat the Anti-Monitor's efforts. And the first encounter results in the death of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).

While this essentially sums up episode 1 of the battle, the Anti-Monitor is nowhere to be seen. With still four episodes to go, it does look like the writers have planned for an opportune moment for the evil entity to appear. Our gut feel says the Anti-Monitor may make an appearance in episode 3 in a cliffhanger moment, probably killing off another major character setting up an intriguing episodes 4 and 5. This will also generate enough conversations as the show goes on a hiatus after the third episode.

'Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 1' is an event we haven't witnessed before and the arrival of the Anti-Monitor will be another gripping affair.

'Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 2' airs December 9, Tuesday at 8 pm on The CW.
