With the new Omicron outbreak, there is good news, as well as bad news in the K-pop industry. Due to it being extremely infectious, it is running rampant and affecting idols who have to continue with their scheduled gigs in crowded places. But since the Covid-19 strain is not lethal, those who had tested positive are recovering in a couple of days. Many have also completed their third vaccine booster shot due to which they do not show any extraordinary symptoms.

In fact, on March 12, several K-pop agencies reported that most of their idols who had gotten Covid-19 had finally tested negative and would resume their activities. Nine out of 13 Seventeen members had tested positive last week, out of which seven have recovered and are out of quarantine. Fans believe Joshua and Jun will test negative by tomorrow. UP10TION’s Sunyoul, TXT’s Yeonjun, all of Itzy and Apink also ended their quarantine. Unfortunately, TXT’s leader, Soobin got Covid-19.
