Courtney Love is the latest celebrity who has sided with Johnny Depp amid the defamation trial he has brought against his former wife Amber Heard. Though Love has not directly said or posted anything, a-now-deleted Instagram account called House In Habit, handled by a woman named Jessica Reed Kraus, shared a video of the singer in which she was heard saying that Depp gave her CPR and also "saved" her daughter’s life.

The video was shared on Thursday, May 19, which can also be found on Kraus’ Twitter page with a message that read: “A heartfelt message Courtney Love shared with me earlier today, about Johnnys impact on her and Frances. Posted on IG just before my account was suspended.” In the video, the 57-year-old ‘Pretty on the Inside’ singer said, “I just want to tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside the Viper Room.”

In the social media video, which has been viewed more than 40k times on Twitter, Love also mentioned that the 58-year-old cared for her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, whom she shared with the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. He apparently wrote Frances a four-page letter for her 13th birthday while Love suffered addiction. Depp also gave Frances a limousine ride and took her and her friends for a screening of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. Her daughter reportedly told her that the ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’ star “saved her life”.

Love ended the video by expressing “empathy” for Heard as she said she knew the feeling of being “the most hated woman” but noted that she doesn’t support her “using a movement for her own gain”. “I hope justice gets served,” she concluded.

However, this is not the first time, Love has talked about Depp giving her CPR. According to a 2009 Page Six report, she said in an interview that “nobody has ever loaned me money. I mean, I was going to die on a few occasions. Johnny Depp gave me CPR once. I was watching that movie where he plays Dillinger and I was like, ‘Motherf***er, I never had myself any JD except CPR.’”

The ‘Kurt and Courtney’ actress’ latest video comes as Depp is involved in a legal fight with the 36-year-old ‘Aquaman’ star, who has not just accused him of being a domestic violence assaulter but also a drug abuser. Love’s clip that is little more longer than two minutes has grabbed a lot of attention from the people on the internet as a user tweeted: “THIS! AH needs to be held accountable, but that's it. As shitty as her decisions are and as much as they hurt others, after she's held accountable, she is just as deserving as anyone else of healing, love, and support. She's human too. Don't attack her. We can do better.” Another user noted, “Whoa and funking Wow! JD is an utterly  amazing being. And yes Courtney you were the most hated women in the world for the same reasons Amber is now, with that said, Kudos for you on all points.”

“We absolutely do care, what Courtney says, especially when she is empathetic towards someone else hurtling into a role, she once felt.. She has earnt that right to care about all this. I hope JD trusts CL into his circle of trust.. plain speakers are needed!” a tweet read. Another tweet added: “Johnny helping CL daughter while she was struggling shows what a kind standup man he is. The fact that her daughter still cherishes what he did for her is everything.  He has a heart of gold. AH & her. 🤡friends using Johnny is unforgivable they are heartless evil 🐍. I  💜 JD.”
