Courteney Cox’s ‘Friends’ male co-stars give her Hollywood Walk of Fame induction a miss, here’s why
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: At Courtney Cox's Walk of Fame event, a few of her closest friends were conspicuously absent. On February 27, the 58-year-old received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame while co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow applauded.
Yet, the absence of David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc at the major event caught everyone's attention. While it appeared that the lads were unable to attend due to the rain, Aniston and Kudrow presented an emotional speech in support of their best friend.

"Thank you for enriching our lives"
“We’re very honored to be here today to speak on your behalf as your co-workers, your friends, and your family, your sisters,” Aniston started the speech. “And that’s happened since we’ve known you for a very long time.” To which Kudrow added, “It’s been that way since we met almost 30 years ago,” before Aniston corrected, “No, not 30 years ago. That’s a typo.”
The two then discussed their friendship, their first encounter with Cox and all the memories they had together while working on the popular sitcom from the 1990s, Page Six reports. “She hated poker. Like, loathed it from the bottom of her heart. But she played with us ’cause she wanted to bond with us,” Aniston shared.
Aniston and Kudrow became emotional after exchanging brief stories about Cox's passion for flipping houses and her "very intense" attention to detail. “Courteney, we just want to say that we are deeply, deeply proud to know you. You are the definition of a truly beautiful, talented, and, what’s most important, a truly good and decent human being … Thank you for enriching our lives personally,” Kudrow said.
“You’re one of the funniest human beings on the planet Earth,” Aniston added. “Nothing makes me happier than a Courteney joke and always making us smile. And thank you for enriching our lives with your work. We are so proud of you.”
“They’re my girls, I love them"
Cox told Access Hollywood about how much Aniston and Kudrow mean to her in a statement following the ceremony. “They’re my girls, I love them. They support me in so many ways, so it’s not surprising that they came out in the rain and supported me here,” she gushed.
