'Counting On': The Duggar family comes together as they mourn the death of grandma Mary

The Duggar family was hit with a surprise when they found out the news about grandma Mary's death and now the family is finding strength in each others presence.

The Duggar family was hit with a surprise when they found out about the sudden death of Grandma Mary. Grandma Mary was an integral part of the family who shared lively moments with each of the member of the family. In today's episode of 'Counting On' the family got together to mourn the loss of grandma Mary. 

Talking to the camera, Michelle revealed that she was left shcoked and immediately broke down crying when she found out about grandma Mary's passing. She said it could have because of a possible stroke. Michelle revealed that Mary had strokes in the past but this time she hit her head and fell into the pool. She hoped that the death was not too painful for her. 

Meanwhile, the other Duggars also reflected on grandma Mary. Jana revealed that she was finding it hard to accept the news because she felt like grandma Mary was just there with them. She added that she found it hard to admit to herself that she was no more. Meanwhile, Jessa stated that it takes time to come to terms with death. She added that it doesn't hit someone unless they realize that the person would not be joining them for another dinner or just a casual meeting. 

Jinger also added that she was always close to her grandma which made it hard for her to accept that she was no more. The family later got together for a viewing cermony before the funeral. All of them came together as a family.

Jackson, who is the 15th child shed light on how he was fortunate that he got a chance to interact with grandma Mary. He recalled that he did not have a chance to interact with his grandpa as he was too young when his death occured but things were different with grandma Mary. The family supported each other and came out stronger as a family.
