While covering Gary Clark Jr's hit single ‘Bright Lights’, he showed all the judges why he is here for the long run

The blind auditions continued on the fourth episode of ‘The Voice’ Season 20 where we saw one of the best performances of the evening from the contestant named Connor Christian. The handsome hunk had a casual look about him and also got along his guitar to mesmerize the coaches and the viewers sitting at home.

While covering Gary Clark Jr's hit single ‘Bright Lights’, he showed all the judges why he is here for the long run. The coaches seemed impressed as they enjoyed his performance but the best part was how Connor’s parents encouraged him throughout his set. His husky voice surely left the judges impressed and especially Blake Shelton as he was the first one to turn around his big red chair. After much deliberation, Nick Jonas followed and Kelly Clarkson was the last one to turn around. John Legend, unfortunately, did not turn around at all.

Who is Connor Christian?

Blake dubbed Connor a “rocker” after his powerful set on the blind auditions. However, looking at the reactions, Nick was very eager to get Connor in his team. Speaking on his performance, Blake said, “Complete control of the stage, I’m absolutely blown away whereas, Nick added how much he loved his performance. After much convincing by all the judges, Connor in the end picked Team Blake for the rest of ‘The Voice’ journey.

The 23-year-old singer from Ohio has ample experience in terms of music. The singer also plays the guitar brilliantly. The newly-wed usually plays a lot of gigs around Chicago and looking at his social media accounts he is also an avid traveler and loves his motorbike. Connor is very close to his family which was also visible during the blind auditions as they have always encouraged him to pursue music as a full-time career.

As soon as Connor’s audition ended on ‘The Voice’ Season 20, social media users rushed to Twitter to express their opinion on the same. One user said, “Connor Christian got me grooving.
