Is Coldplay and BTS collab called 'My Universe'? Alleged lyrics leak has ARMY calling it 'comfort song'

Coldplay and BTS are said to be collaborating for a song called 'My Universe' for the former's 'Music of the Spheres' album, and ARMY can't keep calm

ARMY has been speculating for some time that a Coldplay and BTS collaboration may be in the works. On May 30, a MatchLyric page posted lyrics of a song, which is reportedly the collab between the two bands. While many fans preferred to wait for an official confirmation before celebrating the collab, some fans, obviously, went into a tizzy. We had earlier reported that Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was 'hiding a huge secret' and that ARMY sensed that news of a collab could come anytime soon. Looks like the speculated collaboration now has a name.

Fans went into a meltdown after a MatchLyrics page appeared to show that the bands have worked on a new song called 'My Universe'. BTS and Coldplay have long admired each other and both the bands have expressed their admiration for one another. On May 27, Martin added the K-pop group's beloved 'Butter' to his Spotify playlist. On the same day, #InvestigateSpotify was trending as ARMY claimed the music streaming service was filtering out 'Butter' by a large percentage.

'Hope we're not getting clowned'

On Sunday, May 30, screenshots of 'My Universe' lyrics went viral on the internet. Another image revealed that the song will be included in Coldplay's upcoming album 'Music of the Spheres'. Following the alleged leak of the lyrics by MatchLyrics, other lyrics websites such as Exposed Lyrics followed suit. So are the rumors of the two bands teaming up true?

Not all fans are convinced. "Everyone can edit on genius site so it's never a relatable site to see title of song/collab that still not dropping we know BTS & Coldplay most likely have something since Chris trying to avoid question but pls don't post something not confirmed wait till we get Official things," said a user. "Coldplay x BTS?? hope we're not getting clowned," said a second. "I know I'm being clowned but I don't mind Coldplay x BTS," said a third.

'Comfort song for the whole year'

Other fans were more hopeful about a possible collaboration. "If this BTS Collab with coldplay it would be a hotplay!!!" said a fan. "Not to be dramatic but Coldplay and BTS are actually my two favorite bands ic annto think straight right nowsfls lsfklsfkl i would actually sob for hours if this happenedsiofjal Coldplay was my whole childhood and bts is my whole world seriously I'm seriously about to fucking cry," said a second. "The last live concert I went to was @coldplay's a head full of dreams. I knew them before bts. I believe though there are many army who love this band too, you'll see when this collab drops," said a third. One ARMY member said, "Woow My Universe by coldplay ft BTS I hope this is real Because this is our dream army That i hope is come to reality." Another said, "“My universe” by coldplay ft bts, this is definitely gonna be our comfort song for the whole year a collab we all wanted !!"
