REBEL in SEOUL: CIX announces first-ever offline concert 3 years after their debut
The five-member K-pop group debuted in 2019, and like other rookie groups that made their debut in the Covid era have faced lack of fan interaction that usually helps boost the morale of artists which happens with fan meets and concerts. The Covid pandemic kept many fourth-gen idols from meeting their fans in person, and such groups are finally getting to roll out their first live concerts in 2022.
With groups like Treasure, MCND among others announcing their in-person concerts this year, the five-member boy group from C9 Entertainment is not far behind. CIX announced their first-ever offline solo concert titled ‘Rebel in Seoul’ which is slated to be held in April 2022.

CIX to hold their first concert 3 years after their debut
On March 2, CIX announced their first-ever concert after their rookie showcase events that were held back in 2019 before their debut. Now it has been a total of two years and nine months since their debut and the fourth-gen group is ready to headline their first solo concert. C9 Entertainment, the label that manages the activities of CIX, announced that the boys will hold their first in-person concert titled ‘CIX 1st Concert: REBEL in SEOUL’.
The concert will be an offline event and will take place at the Bluesquare Mastercard Hall in Seoul, South Korea in April of 2022. The concert will go on for a period of three days starting from April 15 to 17, and since the event will be held in person, this will also mark the first time the members of CIX will get to interact with FIX (their fandom).
CIX release the teaser for their first offline concert
While announcing their concert, CIX also released the teaser poster for the event where they appeared dressed in high-school outfits with overcoats, radiating a dark aura that is not like their usual boyish selves. The members were seen holding a red flag in the concert teaser poster which flaunted their group logo with the word ‘Rebel’ written over it.
Since this is their first-ever solo concert, CIX members, as well as their label, have ensured that they will aim to minimize the threat of Covid at the event by making sure they put first the health and safety of the artists and fans by complying with the quarantine guidelines of the health authorities.
CIX on the other hand is ready to release their first-ever Japanese full-length album titled ‘Pinky Swear’ on March 30.
