NAVASOTA, TEXAS: Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris, arguably one of the most well-known individuals alive, has settled into a new role after years of producing action films. Greta Norris, his granddaughter, recently took to Instagram and posted a picture of her hugging her grandfather where Chuck was seen smiling widely, and it's obvious he adores his granddaughter very much.

One follower commented, "good ol' chuck," while others used heart emojis to express their admiration for the actor. Chuck's signature red beard and white smile were visible through the caption, which his granddaughter wrote: "fancy seeing you here."

The granddaughter shared a post wishing him a happy birthday and gushed about how supportive he was throughout her childhood and appreciated him for everything he has done for her.  She also expressed her gratitude toward him for constantly believing in her and for the consistent encouragement.

Chuck Norris' love for his ranch

Chuck left the movie business and now he is a family man. The action movie star has five kids: Mike Norris, Dina Norris, Eric Norris, Dakota Alan Norris, and Danilee Kelly Norris. The actor was earlier married to Dianne Kay Holechek and had his second daughter, Dina, outside of marriage. He now spends most of his time caring for his Grimes County property, Lone Wolf Ranch, and his spring water bottling business, CForce Water.

Chuck and his second wife, Gena O'Kelley, like working on the expansive plot of land they own, and the rest of his family frequently joins them there. The ranch is home to Chuck's two youngest children, Dakota and Danilee, who live there with their parents. The legendary martial artist has outfitted the property with everything his family could possibly need. Naturally, he owns a ton of memorabilia from his movies and experiences over the years, including vintage military gear.

Chuck is a superb martial artist who trains a new generation of warriors in his own training facility. Everyone, from young children to senior martial arts lovers, is taught by the action star. He serves as a mentor for underprivileged kids and gives them access to martial arts.

Chuck left the big screen to take care of his wife

Chuck abruptly left the big screen after a long and improbably prosperous career. The actor spoke candidly about the primary reason he quit show business, stating that he had a duty to take care of his wife, O'Kelley, who had been ill prior to his retirement from the film industry. The 54-year-old has experienced nerve pain and kidney problems, and the couple has been outspoken about how they think an injection she received prior to the scan is what caused her illness.

In conversation with Hello Magazine, she said: "Within hours after the first jab I felt like my whole body was on fire — as if acid had been passed through it. I just lay in bed on an IV for five months and had to have round-the-clock nursing care. Chuck slept beside me on the couch and never left. I prayed that I would live to raise my children."

Chuck abandoned his entire career to caring for his wife and kids. They weren't initially aware of what was wrong with O'Kelley or what would happen to her in the long run. The actor was utterly distraught and resolved to assist her in getting through the excruciating pain. He was prepared to spend all of his resources on treatment. He disclosed: "I've given up my film career to concentrate on Gena, my whole life right now is about keeping her alive. I believe this issue is so important."

According to O'Kelley, she thinks her reaction to the injection's gadolinium was to blame. She and Chuck now have filed lawsuits against the businesses involved in the drug's production. Fortunately, O'Kelly was able to recover. She had stem cell therapy, which appears to have aided in her recovery.
