LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Carter-Lee duo will be back to the screen in no time to grace the audience with 'Rush Hour 4'. 'It’s going to be on a whole other level'
Chris shared information about the project and the love he has for Jackie and how much he enjoys working with him, saying, "You’re going to see a lot of good stuff coming, but it’s going to be on a whole other level. That’s what I like…I’m excited about that. It’s not going to be what you’ve normally seen… Rush Hour 4, that’s something I definitely will probably drop in there because I love working with Jackie, but I’ve got some new stuff that I think you’re really gonna like. I’m excited about it." according to Audacy’s V-103 radio station.
What's the reason behind 'Rush Hour 4's delay?
The talks about 'Rush Hour 4' have been there in-between conversations since 2017, when Chan was the first one to reveal that the movie will soon start production, which was later backed up by Tucker. Although Chan and Tucker were sure about the movie, the production was paused for several more years, with Chan coming back to talk about it last year. But even though this back-and-forth has been going on for almost six years, one important element can also be the reason for the delay in 'Rush Hour 4'. Brett Ratner, who directed all three 'Rush Hour' movies, was accused of sexual harassment by several actors, including Olivia Munn, Natasha Henstridge, and Elliot Page. Due to the severe accusations, Warner Bros. cut ties with Ratner and went in search of a new director. The search and difficulty in finding a replacement for Ratner might also be another reason for the delay in the fourth installment.
