'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' Part 3 Episode 1: The Fright Club follows the blood path to Unholy Hell

In the last episode of Part 2 titled "The Mephisto Waltz", we saw The Dark Lord (Lucifer) get trapped in the flesh Acheron of Nick Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood) by his daughter, Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka). The beginning of Part 3 titled 'Hellbound Heart' sees Sabrina, Theo Putnam, Roz Walker and Harvey Kinkle of the Fright Club make it their emotional mission to get Scratch away from the Unholy Land and back to Greendale. With the King of Hell being handled, Cousin Ambrose (Chance Perdomo) and Prudence Blackwood (Tati Gabrielle), dedicate their fight to finding Prudence's father, Father Faustus Blackwood, the former High Priest of the former Church of Judas.
As the Fright Club make it their mission to get to the gates of Hell, Ms. Wardwell, whose body was taken over by Lilith (Michelle Gomez) while on earth, returns to Baxter High after a three-month unholy hiatus. A little confused, she seems to be drawn to "Dante's Divine Comedy", a poem, one of which is titled "Inferno". Ironic, as most of the episode has Hell as the backdrop, it chronicles the journey of the Fright Club to Hell's City Of Pandemonium to meet with the Queen of Hell, Lilith.
Elsewhere, Sabrina meets the powerful club owner, Dorian Gray (Jedidiah Goodacre) who through magic paintings gives the Fright Club a straight portal to hell - on one condition. They are to bring back the La Fleur Du Mal, the only flower in Hell growing in the Forest of Torment in order for the incantation to come back home to Greendale to work. With Gray's advice to make their way to the City Of Pandemonium, they start their journey to Hell.
As the Fright Club spell cast their way into the realm of Hell, they are to follow the path of Blood that will lead them to the City Of Pandemonium. They were told not stray from the red path as the ghastly water from corpses they had on their skin to protect them was wearing off. Armed with boots of the dead so they don't alert the demons or the hordes of hell, the four get to see their departed loved ones as they walk the path.
Theo(Lachlan Watson) sees her Uncle Jesse Putnam hung on a cross being eaten by crows, cast to Hell by Lilith herself (in Part 2). Harvey(Ross Lynch) meets a tin man that looks and sounds like his brother Tommy who is trying to kill him. Roz's(Jaz Sinclair) grandmother and principal Hawthorne try to carve Roz's eyes out because she's using The Cunning to help Witches. Needless to say, the crew remained strong as they acknowledged the fact that none of whom they saw were the loved ones they knew. Completing the first mission of finding the flower, they were saved by the daggers of their principal and were summoned to the Hell Court by Lilith.
While at the dinner table with the interim Queen of Hell, the Fright Club is given another condition to follow if Nick were to be brought back to Greendale. Lilith asks Sabrina Morningstar, the daughter of The Dark Lord Lucifer, to recrown her in Hell so as to gain the respect of the Three Kings of Hell who opposed her being on the throne for lacking royal blood.
Realizing that Lilith will release Nick if she does so, Sabrina agrees but is challenged by the Prince of Caliban(Sam Corlett), the Native Son of the Inferno. Amidst this chaos, Sabrina looks into Nick's eyes and is summoned by her Father into the archenteron. The Dark Lord Lucifer tells her that only a real Queen will be able to get Nick out of Hell and that she can do that once she takes the crown and fulfills the prophecy.
Even though Nick begs her not to do so, Sabrina comes back into the realm of Hell and redeems what's hers by blood and birth - the throne of Hell. Naming Lilith as her reagent, she dismisses the court and the four make it back to Greendale with Nick who has Satan trapped inside of him. Bounded by chains of Damascus steel and trapped in a circle of salt in the former dungeons of the Academy of the Unseen Arts, the four manage to keep the Dark Lord from escaping, for now.
Meanwhile, Ambrose and Prudence use the Haitian art of Voodoo to track Father Blackwood to Loch Ness, Scotland where they make it their mission to kill the betrayer and murderer. Prudence also wants to get back her twin siblings, Judas and Judith who are held hostage by her father. You're probably wondering what happens to the Academy of Unseen Arts. Well, that is now under the guidance of Priestess Zelda Spellman (Miranda Otto) who is re-building the coven from the ground up while praying to Madam Satan, Lilith.
