Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence's divorce finalized after three years of marriage
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence are officially separated after a marriage that lasted three years. As per the documents acquired by Us Weekly, the former pair ended their marriage on Monday, September 19. The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro, along with Lawrence have decided to abide by their prenuptial agreement, which includes "hashing it over custody of their dog Ysabella in the days ahead."
Interestingly, they have come up with the conditions and prepared a prenuptial agreement within a week before tying the knot. Burke will be keeping all of her 'Dancing with the Stars' and QVC royalties and earnings, as per the agreement. Meanwhile, Lawrence will also be allowed to have all of his own royalties.

Moreover, the exes had decided on equally splitting their two properties, according to the People. Burke had posted on her TikTok account about her "marriage going off." She had written, “I know I have always said I'm an open book with you guys, I do strive to be, and in writing this I've realized there really isn't an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending.”
The 38-year-old dancer had shared how she’s coping with her pending divorce, in an earlier interview with Extra. She said, “As far as me and how this is going, it's really, I'm not proud of it, it's a s*** show.”
“My emotions are constantly up and down, I'm sad every morning I wake up, I am sad every time I go to bed at night,” Burke went on. “It's really nothing to hide here as far as like divorce sucks. I don't recommend it, but at the end of the day, you know, it's not like we didn't try and I know we gave it a good shot,” she concluded.
Burke was recently promoting a new podcast where she is expected to get assistance from her listeners to process her recent divorce and move on with life. In the end, she confessed that she is not ready for another relationship right now, “the word dating makes me want to throw up a little bit right now, so I'm clearly not ready for that," but added that she wants to "eventually, hopefully find love.”
