'Dancing With The Stars' came back with its third episode of the season and this time it's Britney Week! Fans were in for a treat as all the contestants channeled their inner Britney Spears to battle it out on the ballroom.

Amongst the Season 30 contestants is fitness guru Cody Rigsby paired with pro Cheryl Burke. Last week saw them being judged based on their rehearsal video as we got the bad news of Cheryl testing positive for Covid. But things did not get better as we recently were met with the unfortunate news of Cody testing positive as well. This has effectively forced them to resort to a remote live performance to stay in the competition. They both did their routine of Jazz to “Gimme More” by Britney Spears on 'Dancing with the Stars'. Here' what the judges and fans thought of the performance.

Although the situation was tricky to navigate, Rigsby had to be judged by his remote performance which didn't really work in his favor. Judge Bruno Tonioli commented that he admired the perseverance and commitment by the two who performed for them despite being ill. He did say that it was very hard to judge the sync of the split-screen performance. Judge Carrie Ann too agreed and said it did not compare to a live performance. Judge Len on a positive note said that they did well despite the circumstances. Their total score after the weak comments came to a measly 18 with Rigsby scoring the lowest out of all the performances tonight. But despite the meagre score Cody and his partner managed to survive the elimination with a healthy amount of fan support with sympathy pouring it. As for the performance fans had different opinions, here's how they reacted.

A fan commented, "Cody and Cheryl worked it out from home. I was impressed!!! #DWTS". A viewer also said, "Not Cody and Cheryl dancing separately live while testing pos*tive for COVID #DWTS #DWTS30". Another fan commented, "I still don't know how I feel about Cody and Cheryl dancing remotely in their own homes. I think they should've just withdrawn and *I guess* extended an invitation for next season (along w others who had to withdraw) #DWTS #DWTS30".

A fan said, "Great effort but yes hard to keep timing remotely so looked off Dancing with Covid must be hard though and Cody got his Britney moment #DWTS". Another viewer said, "Cheryl and Cody deserved much higher than an 18!!!!!!!! Come on #dwts". A user also said, "Cody and Cheryl seriously killed that performance!!! I can’t believe how they put that together. So amazing #DWTS".
